Pedagogy

The teaching approach will be highly interactive and deploy diverse pedagogical tools and techniques most suitable for each module such as cases, role-plays, simulations, games, and lectures.

Programme Delivery

Sessions will be conducted via a state-of-the-art Interactive Learning (IL) platform and delivered in Direct-to-Device (D2D) mode that can be accessed by learners on their Desktop, Laptop, Tablet, or Smartphone. Participants will be provided reading materials, etc., for each course. They may also interact with the concerned faculty through e-mails/chat mode.

Campus Immersion

  • There will be three days of campus immersion at IIM Indore. One or two sessions from some of the courses will become part of the on-campus orientation module. The on-campus module will be after the completion of examinations of all the modules.

  • The on-campus modules are subject to the conditions that prevail at that point of time. These conditions pertain to the pandemic or other unavoidable reasons. In case the on-campus module is not confirmed due to the COVID-19 situation, the same will be included in the total number of online sessions. 

Who Should Attend?

  • Senior and middle-level managers with more than ten years of work experience

  • Managers newly taking on (or likely to take on) senior management responsibilities

  • Senior functional managers moving to general management roles

  • Practising senior managers who wish to update themselves on recent management thoughts

Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3 or 10+2+4) or 2-year master’s degree or its equivalent from institutions or universities recognised by UGC/AICTE/AIU/DEB

  • Minimum 50% aggregate marks of all years in either bachelor’s or master’s degree or its equivalent

  • Candidates should be working and should have a minimum of 10 years of work experience* post-completion of qualifying education

*Internships and Trainee Experiences will not be considered as full-time work experience.

Admission Criteria

  • Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of assessment of educational and professional background and motivation based on the application form submitted.

  • Senior applicants with experience will be preferred.

  • Final selection will be done by IIM Indore.

Assessment and Evaluation

  • Continuous evaluation components consist of class participation, case discussions, assignments, quiz, project presentations, written tests, and final online examination.

  • Examination/evaluation shall be conducted by IIM Lucknow.

Attendance Criteria

  • A minimum of 66% attendance is a prerequisite for the successful completion of the programme

  • Participants with less than 66% attendance will not be permitted to appear for the exams

  • It is mandatory for participants to attend all campus visits for the successful completion of the programme

Certificate and Assessment

  • Assessment & Evaluation

  • Comprehensive examination covering all strategy themes taught until the completion of the programme 

  • Case analysis presentations 

  • Project report submission and presentations

  • Attendance Criteria

  • Participants are expected to attend all sessions of a given course. However, a 75% minimum attendance requirement would be considered for the final grading.

  • Certification

  • Candidates meeting requisite attendance requirements and clearing the comprehensive evaluation will be awarded “Certificate of Successful Completion” from IIM Lucknow.

  • Candidates not clearing the comprehensive evaluation but meeting requisite attendance criterion will be awarded “Certificate of Participation”.

  • Successful participants will also be accorded IIM Lucknow Executive Alumni status (optional).

  • IIM Lucknow Executive Alumni Fee (Optional) – ₹10,000 + GST
